Future Programme

At RCN Mission Hospital, our commitment to holistic, Christ-centred healthcare extends beyond our walls. As we expand the Arome Care vision, we are preparing to launch a series of transformational programmes designed to touch the most vulnerable, restore dignity, and strengthen entire communities. “And let us not be weary in well doing…’’ (Galatians 6:9) These upcoming initiatives represent our next chapter of impact: 1. IDP Children Outreach (Launching Q1 2026 – Quarterly) Beginning in the first quarter of 2026, our specialised outreach for children in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps will run every quarter. Activities will include medical check-ups, nutrition support, deworming, health education, emotional support, and recreational therapy helping displaced children grow in health, hope, and resilience. 2. Orphanage Homes Support Programme We will be expanding into orphanage homes, providing regular medical reviews, immunisation, nutritional support, hygiene kits, and mental health services. Beyond health, we seek to offer love, presence, and dignity to children who have no biological families to speak for them. 3. Rural Community Medical Outreaches Our rural mission strategy will intensify, bringing full medical camps to underserved villages across Benue State and beyond. Services will include general consultations, antenatal care, dental care, minor procedures, diagnostics, health education, and referrals. Our goal is to eliminate barriers to healthcare by taking care directly to the people. 4. Persons Living With Disability Outreach-Otukpo In Otukpo, we will begin a dedicated medical and social support programme for persons living with disabilities. This outreach will focus on mobility support, chronic disease care, physiotherapy, nutritional support, spiritual encouragement, and family counselling. Every person deserves dignity, and we are committed to championing that. 5. Weekly Prison Outreach Our weekly prison outreach will bring medical care, health counselling, medication support, and faith-based encouragement to inmates. We believe in the restoration of lives, and we will continue to stand as a bridge of hope behind the walls. “…I was in prison, and ye came unto Me’’ (Matthew 25:36) 6. IDP Comprehensive Antenatal Outreach Pregnant women in IDP camps remain one of the most vulnerable groups. Our comprehensive antenatal programme will provide scans, supplements, laboratory tests, emergency referrals, maternity education, labour preparedness, and safe-delivery pathways helping to reduce maternal and neonatal risk in fragile settings. 7. IDP Nutrition and Hygiene Outreach This programme will offer targeted nutritional interventions, hygiene kits, water safety education, malnutrition screening, micro-nutrition packages, and disease prevention training. Our aim is to improve everyday living conditions and reduce preventable illnesses in overcrowded IDP settlements. 8. Commercial Drivers Outreach We are launching a health and safety programme for commercial drivers focusing on hypertension screening, vision checks, substance-use education, first-aid training, and stress-management counselling. As custodians of lives on the road, their well-being is vital to the safety of our entire community. 9. RCN Medical Missions and One-More-Soul Outreach, Jos Nigeria-February 2026 RCN Medical Missions, in strategic collaboration with One-More-Soul Outreach, Jos, will undertake a two-day high-impact medical outreach to underserved communities around Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. This mission is designed as both a healing campaign and a spiritual atmosphere-shifting encounter, demonstrating the Kingdom’s commitment to bringing wholeness-spirit, soul, and body. 10. RCN Surgical Festival-April 2026 In April 2026, RCN Mission Hospital will host a Surgical Festival, a high-impact initiative designed to provide free surgeries to individuals who cannot afford operative care. Procedures will include herniorrhaphies, lump excisions, gynaecological surgeries, minor orthopaedic procedures, and other essential interventions. This festival will involve: a. Visiting surgeons and volunteer specialists b. Strengthened theatre capacity c. Post-operative follow-up clinics d. Community mobilisation for case identification The Surgical Festival aims to restore health, mobility, productivity, and dignity changing lives in a way that lasts generations. A Future of Compassionate Impact These programmes represent our commitment to reaching the forgotten, uplifting the vulnerable, and bringing Christlike compassion to those who need it most. Through strategic planning, strong partnerships, and God’s enabling grace, we are marching forward to make measurable impact one community at a time.
